Role Description The Cyber Security Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Sulthanbathery. This role involves monitoring systems and networks for security events, investigating alerts, and responding to potential threats in a timely manner. The analyst will review logs, perform vulnerability assessments, support application and network security controls, and assist in malware analysis when required. Daily tasks include documenting findings, preparing reports, and collaborating with IT and development teams to remediate issues and strengthen security posture. The role also includes helping to maintain security policies, contributing to security awareness initiatives, and staying current with emerging threats and best practices.
Qualifications
Strong cybersecurity fundamentals and hands-on experience with security tools and frameworks.
Application Security skills, including secure coding principles and familiarity with common application vulnerabilities.
Network Security skills, including configuring and monitoring firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure network architectures.
Malware Analysis capabilities, with the ability to analyze suspicious files or behaviors and support incident response.
Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, correlate events, and draw clear, actionable conclusions.
Relevant degree or certification (e.g., Computer Science, Information Security, CEH, Security+, or equivalent experience).
Ability to work on-site in Sulthanbathery, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
Familiarity with SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanners, and ticketing systems is an advantage.
