Role Description The Human Resources Assistant at CAREERBLOC is a full-time, remote role that supports HR operations and helps ensure a smooth experience for both candidates and clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining employee records in HRIS systems, assisting with recruitment processes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities. The role also involves supporting benefits administration, helping organize training sessions, and responding to employee and candidate inquiries in a timely manner. The Human Resources Assistant will collaborate with HR management to maintain compliance with policies and procedures, generate HR reports, and contribute to continuous process improvements. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, distributed work environment.
Qualifications
Solid understanding of Human Resources (HR) principles and practices, with the ability to support HR Management activities.
Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to maintain accurate employee data and generate reports.
Knowledge of Benefits Administration processes, including enrollment support and basic employee inquiries.
Ability to assist with Training coordination, such as scheduling sessions, tracking participation, and maintaining documentation.
Strong organizational, time management, and administrative skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach when interacting with candidates and employees.
Proficiency with standard office software tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing); experience with remote collaboration platforms is a plus.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
Prior experience in an HR support or administrative role is preferred; familiarity with recruitment processes is an advantage.
Relevant education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is beneficial.
