Role Description The Finance Manager (Hospitality) will oversee all financial operations for a hospitality business unit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in a full-time, on-site capacity. This role includes managing budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flow, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate reporting in accordance with relevant standards and regulations. The Finance Manager will analyze financial performance, provide insights to support pricing and cost-control decisions, and guide management on profitability and risk. Daily responsibilities also include supervising accounts payable and receivable, coordinating with external auditors, ensuring compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements, and implementing financial controls. The role involves close collaboration with operations, procurement, and senior management to support strategic planning and business growth.
Qualifications
Strong skills in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control within the hospitality sector.
Proficiency in financial reporting, cash flow management, and interpretation of financial statements.
Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel for data analysis and modeling.
Knowledge of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and hospitality industry financial practices in the UAE.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present financial insights to non-finance teams.
Proven experience in a finance leadership or supervisory role, preferably in hotels, resorts, or related hospitality businesses.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and collaborate in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
