Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Technical Support Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Payroll, Core HR, Fast Formula, OTBI, BI Publisher, HCM Extracts, HDL, and integrations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for application support, technical troubleshooting, enhancements, reporting, integrations, data management, testing, and release activities across Oracle Fusion HCM.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day technical and functional support for Oracle Fusion HCM, particularly Core HR and Payroll.
Troubleshoot production issues, review open cases, and coordinate with internal teams and Oracle/vendor support for resolution.
Analyze Oracle Fusion Payroll setup and data issues and resolve them within agreed turnaround times.
Review Oracle release notes and assess potential impacts on existing configurations, integrations, and business processes.
Analyze requirements and recommend appropriate technical/configuration solutions.
Configure applications based on approved requirements and document functional and technical specifications.
Assess the impact of configuration changes across Fast Formulas, extensions, HR processes, downstream systems, and integrations.
Support large and complex data imports, extracts, validations, and data governance activities.
Develop and maintain integrations and file transfers between Oracle Fusion HCM and third-party systems.
Execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing and provide required system documentation and testing support.
Develop and maintain reports and queries using OTBI, BI Publisher, SQL, and other Oracle reporting tools.
Support implementation of new Oracle HCM modules and enhancements to existing applications.
Document configurations, migration activities, technical solutions, and change-management requirements.
Provide Tier 2 support for user "How To" queries and contribute to job aids and technical documentation.
Required Technical Skills
Oracle Fusion HCM
Strong experience in Oracle Fusion HCM Core HR and Payroll.
Hands-on experience in application support, configuration, troubleshooting, enhancements, and release management.
Fast Formula
Proficiency in developing Fast Formulas for Payroll and Core HR.
Experience designing complex Fast Formulas for Payroll, OTL, and Absence.
OTBI & BI Publisher
Strong experience developing OTBI reports and dashboards, particularly for Payroll.
Experience creating BI Publisher reports and notifications.
Strong SQL skills for data extraction and reporting.
Experience with SQL/report performance tuning.
Experience creating loopback integrations using Payroll flows and BIP reports.
HCM Extracts
Experience configuring HCM Extracts for Payroll and other HCM areas.
Ability to design complex extraction rules and transfer data to downstream applications.
HDL & Data Migration
Strong experience with HCM Data Loader (HDL) and spreadsheet-based data uploads.
Experience with bulk data uploads/migration for Payroll objects, including element entries and balance adjustments.
Ability to map, validate, and reconcile employee data during data conversion.
Integrations
Hands-on experience integrating Oracle Fusion HCM with third-party systems such as Time Management and Benefits platforms.
Experience working with Oracle APIs, BIP reports, SOAP web services, and OIC.
Ability to create/configure and invoke SOAP-based web service jobs.
Experience implementing real-time and batch integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Good to Have
Basic functional understanding of Oracle Fusion Core HR and Payroll business processes.
Exposure to Oracle HCM modules such as ORC, Talent Management, OLC, Compensation, and Payroll.
Knowledge of BPM Worklist and HCM integration troubleshooting.
Required Experience & Qualifications
6+ years of Oracle Fusion HCM experience.
Experience in service delivery and vendor management.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Strong experience evaluating requirements and specifications through development, testing, and deployment.
Strong knowledge of SQL/database queries, data extracts, calculations, formulas, and complex commands.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
