Role Description The Junior Interior Designer & Execution Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role involves assisting in the design and development of interiors for coliving and coworking spaces, including concept creation, space planning, and FF&E selection aligned with Coliwo’s brand and user experience. The individual will prepare and support construction drawings, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and help oversee on-site execution to ensure design intent, quality, and timelines are met. Daily tasks include collaborating with senior designers, conducting site visits, reviewing materials and finishes, and ensuring that completed spaces are functional, aesthetically consistent, and ready for residents. The role also requires close coordination with operations teams to refine layouts and design details based on user feedback and operational needs.
Qualifications
Ability to work with Space Planning and Interior Design concepts to create functional, appealing coliving and coworking environments.
Foundational knowledge in Architecture and understanding of design principles relevant to residential and commercial interiors.
Competence in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings, and coordinating these with on-site execution teams.
Skills in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, including materials, finishes, and sourcing to align with design standards and budgets.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency with design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office tools.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple sites or projects.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with designers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Willingness to be present on-site regularly in the Pune Division and to manage execution activities as required.
