Role Description The Group Head Maintenance role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Amritsar, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks such as planning, reporting, and coordination. The role involves overseeing maintenance operations across hospital facilities, ensuring all equipment, utilities, and infrastructure are safe, functional, and compliant with relevant standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and supervising preventive maintenance schedules, coordinating maintenance and repair activities, managing maintenance staff, and liaising with vendors and service providers. The Group Head Maintenance will monitor performance indicators, manage maintenance budgets, and implement improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance operational reliability. The role also includes maintaining documentation, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and supporting audits and inspections.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Maintenance Management and overall Maintenance of hospital facilities and equipment.
Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance to ensure reliability, safety, and minimal downtime of critical systems.
Candidates should possess hands-on expertise in Maintenance & Repair for electrical, mechanical, and civil infrastructure as needed.
Candidates should possess solid Team Management skills to lead, train, and coordinate a diverse maintenance workforce.
Relevant technical qualification (diploma or degree in engineering or facilities management) is preferred.
Experience in hospital or healthcare facility maintenance is highly beneficial.
Strong knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and documentation practices.
Ability to analyze maintenance issues, use CMMS or similar tools, and communicate clearly with clinical and administrative teams.
