Role Description This full-time, on-site Frontend Developer role is based in Salem. The Frontend Developer will implement user interfaces using modern web technologies, translate design mockups into responsive layouts, and ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with designers and backend developers, optimizing page performance, maintaining reusable UI components, and addressing usability and accessibility concerns. The role also involves participating in code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to frontend architecture and best practices.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including experience with modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries, HTML, and CSS.
Candidates should possess Web Development and Responsive Web Design skills to create performant, mobile-friendly, and standards-compliant user interfaces.
Candidates should possess Software Development and Back-End Web Development skills sufficient to integrate APIs, understand full-stack workflows, and collaborate effectively with backend teams.
Candidates should possess skills in version control (e.g., Git), debugging tools, and build systems or bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Vite, or similar).
Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills and be comfortable working on-site in a cross-functional team environment.
A relevant academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
Experience with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), performance optimization, and UI/UX best practices is a plus.
