Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Accountant at Prince Enterprises. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including recording and reconciling transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining accurate general ledger entries. The role involves preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The Accountant will monitor project costs, support invoicing and collections, and collaborate with operations and management to provide clear financial insights. The position also includes preparing reports for audits, assisting with financial planning, and recommending process improvements to strengthen internal financial controls.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and expense tracking.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Understanding of taxation, compliance requirements, and audit support in an Indian business context.
Ability to analyze project costs, prepare budgets, and generate accurate, timely financial statements.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment.
Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative working style with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
Prior experience in construction, contracting, or fire protection services is beneficial but not required.
