Roles and Responsibilities
Proven experience of 5 to 8 years as a Ruby on Rails developer
Strong understanding of the Ruby language and its nuances.
Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient Ruby scripts for multiple needs.
Expertise in the Ruby on Rails framework and its core principles (MVC, RESTful architecture, Active Record, etc.).
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, AngularJS) is a significant plus.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and advanced design patterns: Design Principles.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, SQLite) and ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) concepts.
Familiarity with concepts of Mocking and testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec).
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, particularly Git.
Experience with API frameworks and API integration.
Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues and optimize code for performance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
Familiarity with Clinical trial domain is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a cross-functional project team
