Role Description The Senior Software Architect for Australia Opportunities role is a full-time, on-site position based in Australia. This role involves designing and overseeing the architecture of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with business requirements for migration-related and internal platforms. The Senior Software Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical standards, guide software development practices, and review design and code for adherence to architectural principles. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating functional requirements into robust technical solutions, mentoring development teams, selecting suitable tools and frameworks, and continuously improving system performance and security. The role also requires close coordination with stakeholders to ensure that technology solutions support the consultancy’s service delivery for clients seeking opportunities in Australia.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Architecture and Software Design to create scalable, maintainable, and secure systems.
Candidates should possess practical experience in Software Development and Programming to guide implementation and support engineering teams.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Design Patterns to ensure robust, reusable, and efficient software solutions.
Experience with modern software stacks (e.g., microservices, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and RESTful APIs) is highly beneficial.
Proven ability to lead technical discussions, mentor developers, and collaborate with product and business stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
