Role Description The Head of Engineering for Canada Opportunities is a full-time, on-site role based in Canada. This role oversees the design, development, and maintenance of technology solutions that support immigration and visa consulting services, ensuring platforms and tools are secure, reliable, and scalable. The individual will manage engineering teams, set technical direction, and align projects with business goals and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include leading software development initiatives, coordinating with project managers and business stakeholders, optimizing workflows, and monitoring performance and quality standards. The role also involves mentoring team members, establishing best practices, and continuously improving engineering processes to support growth in Canada-focused services.

Candidates should possess engineering management skills to define technical strategy, oversee architecture decisions, and ensure high-quality delivery.
Candidates should possess project management skills to plan, prioritize, and execute technology initiatives within timelines and budgets.
Candidates should possess software development skills, with experience in modern frameworks, cloud platforms, and secure application design.
Solid understanding of technology solutions for service-based or consulting businesses; experience in immigration, legal, or professional services domains is an advantage.
Proven ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical plans, and communicate clearly.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or comparable professional experience.
Experience in leading engineering functions (e.g., Head of Engineering, Director of Engineering, or similar) in a growing organization is highly beneficial.
