Role Description The Scrum Master for Australia role is a full-time, on-site position based in Australia. The Scrum Master will facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for development teams working on Australia-focused projects. Responsibilities include coaching teams on Agile and Scrum practices, removing impediments, ensuring user stories are well-defined, and supporting continuous improvement in delivery processes. The role involves close collaboration with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to refine backlogs, align priorities, and maintain clear communication across teams. The Scrum Master will also track team performance metrics, encourage data-driven decisions, and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Sprint Planning and User Stories skills to manage backlogs and structure effective sprints.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret team performance, identify bottlenecks, and support process improvements.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Candidates should possess a good understanding of Software Development processes to work effectively with technical teams.
Experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, preferably in software or technology-driven environments.
Relevant Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PSM) are highly beneficial.
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
