Role Description As a Senior Flutter (Mobility) Developer (7+ Years) at MindBrain, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance mobile applications for Android and iOS using Flutter and Dart. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into clean architecture, reusable components, and scalable solutions. Daily responsibilities include implementing new features, optimizing app performance, integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services, writing unit and widget tests, and ensuring consistent UI/UX across platforms. You will also participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to best practices and technical documentation. This is a remote contract role that requires strong ownership, proactive communication, and the ability to work independently in distributed teams.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart for cross-platform mobile development, including experience building and publishing production apps for both Android and iOS.
Solid mobile development foundation, including state management (e.g., Provider, Bloc, Riverpod), navigation, responsive UI design, and familiarity with native Android/iOS concepts.
Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON data handling, and working with third-party SDKs and services (e.g., analytics, push notifications, payments).
Competence in software engineering practices such as clean architecture, SOLID principles, version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing (unit, widget, integration).
Ability to optimize app performance, handle offline capabilities, manage app security best practices, and troubleshoot complex issues across devices and OS versions.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, including working effectively in remote and cross-functional teams, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to clear documentation.
7+ years of professional experience in mobile or software development, with significant experience in Flutter; prior work in product-based or high-scale environments is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; experience in EdTech, SaaS, or workforce solutions is a plus.
