Role Description The Business Intelligence Developer will design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that support data-driven decision-making across PPStack’s education and digital services. This full-time remote role involves building and optimizing data models, implementing ETL processes, and managing data warehousing solutions to ensure accurate and accessible information. The developer will collaborate with product, operations, and leadership teams to translate business requirements into dashboards, reports, and analytics that provide clear insights into learner performance, program effectiveness, and business metrics. Daily responsibilities include validating data quality, improving performance of BI assets, documenting solutions, and contributing to continuous improvement of PPStack’s data and analytics ecosystem. The role also includes proactively identifying opportunities to leverage BI tools and data to enhance educational offerings and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Data Modeling and Data Warehousing skills to design scalable and reliable BI architectures.
Candidates should possess experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools to integrate and prepare data from multiple sources.
Candidates should possess Dashboard development skills and proficiency with BI visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) to present insights effectively.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and support strategic decisions.
Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming or scripting language (such as Python or R) for data manipulation and automation.
Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data stack tools is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
Experience in EdTech, education analytics, or digital product companies is a plus.
