Role Description This remote Research Intern role is an internship position focused on supporting Great Hire’s talent and market research initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing market, industry, and talent data from various sources, organizing findings into clear reports or spreadsheets, and assisting with the preparation of research summaries and presentations for internal stakeholders. The intern will help identify trends in hiring, skills demand, and candidate behavior, and contribute insights that can improve matching between clients and candidates. The role also involves collaborating with team members, documenting research methods, and ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality throughout all projects.
Qualifications
Ability to conduct structured research, collect data from credible sources, and synthesize information into clear insights.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, including comfort working with spreadsheets, basic data analysis, and interpreting trends.
Solid written and verbal communication skills for preparing concise reports, summaries, and presentations.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a remote environment.
Comfort with digital tools such as office productivity suites, online collaboration platforms, and internet-based research tools.
Ability to work independently, ask clarifying questions, and collaborate respectfully in a diverse, inclusive team setting.
Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in business, economics, social sciences, statistics, or a related field is preferred.
Interest in recruitment, HR, labor markets, or talent management is highly beneficial.
