Role Description The Human Resources Intern role at Great Hire is a remote internship focused on supporting core HR activities and talent operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with candidate sourcing, screening, and coordination of interviews, as well as maintaining accurate employee and applicant records. The intern will help draft and update HR policies, support onboarding and offboarding processes, and provide administrative support for employee benefits and engagement initiatives. The role also involves collaborating with HR team members on personnel management tasks, preparing reports, and contributing to process improvements while learning best practices in modern HR management.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with an interest in developing a career in people operations.
Understanding of HR Policies and Employee Benefits and the ability to assist in their communication and documentation.
Basic skills in Personnel Management, including handling employee data and supporting onboarding activities.
Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and comfort interacting with candidates and team members professionally.
Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, HR systems) and willingness to learn new platforms.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
