Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and well-connected Business Development Manager who can drive institutional and corporate partnerships for POSSPOLE Catalyst.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in EdTech sales/business development, or a proven background in sales, seminar/workshop/conference conduction, institutional outreach, and partnership development.
Candidates with an established network across colleges, universities, corporates, incubation centres, accelerators, training institutions, or industry ecosystems will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities across educational institutions, corporates, incubation centres, accelerators, and ecosystem partners.
Drive B2B and institutional sales for Catalyst programs and initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with college management, placement teams, academic leaders, corporate HR/L&D teams, incubators, and industry stakeholders.
Conduct and coordinate seminars, workshops, information sessions, corporate sessions, and institutional events to generate leads and partnerships.
Generate qualified leads through cold calling, direct outreach, networking, references, events, and existing industry connections.
Convert institutional and corporate leads into partnerships, program enrolments, and business opportunities.
Represent POSSPOLE Catalyst in college visits, corporate meetings, industry events, seminars, conferences, and networking platforms.
Develop proposals, presentations, partnership pitches, and commercial discussions with prospective clients and institutions.
Maintain a structured pipeline of leads, meetings, follow-ups, conversions, and revenue opportunities.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of confirmed partnerships and programs.
Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly business development and revenue targets.
Prepare regular reports on outreach, meetings, pipeline, conversions, and business performance.
Preferred Candidate Profile
1–4 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Institutional Sales, or Partnerships.
Strong preference for candidates with EdTech experience.
Candidates from other sectors may also be considered if they have strong experience in:
B2B/B2C sales
Conducting seminars, workshops, conferences, or corporate sessions
Institutional outreach
Corporate partnerships
Business networking and relationship management
Existing connections with colleges, universities, corporates, incubation centres, accelerators, or industry bodies will be a strong advantage.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable with frequent institutional and corporate visits and face-to-face meetings.
Target-oriented with strong follow-up and conversion abilities.
Ability to independently identify opportunities and take them from lead generation → meeting → proposal → negotiation → closure.

What We’re Looking For
We are particularly interested in someone who doesn't just sell a product but can open doors—someone who can leverage their network, conduct meaningful conversations with institutions and corporates, create opportunities through seminars and events, and convert those relationships into long-term partnerships for POSSPOLE Catalyst.
Candidates with strong EdTech sales experience and an existing institutional/corporate network will be given preference.
