Embedded Software Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Embedded Software Engineer role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Embedded Software Engineer will design, implement, and maintain embedded software for products across Posspole’s innovation-led sectors, working closely with cross-functional hardware, product, and systems teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing embedded code, integrating software with hardware components, debugging and troubleshooting system issues, and contributing to software architecture and design reviews. The role also involves writing and maintaining technical documentation, participating in testing and validation activities, and collaborating to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of embedded solutions for global markets.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Embedded Software Programming and experience working with embedded software platforms.
Hands-on experience in Software Development for embedded systems, including coding, integration, and optimization.
Ability to perform effective Debugging of embedded applications, firmware, and system-level issues.
Solid understanding of Software Design principles, architectures, and patterns relevant to embedded systems.
Experience with C/C++ or similar languages, microcontrollers, RTOS, and hardware–software integration.
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Relevant degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in high-reliability domains (e.g., Defence, Aerospace, Healthcare, Telecom, Energy) is an advantage.
