Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Public Relations Intern. The intern will support the development and execution of PR activities that promote Digistall’s mission of enabling e-commerce in rural India. Day-to-day tasks include drafting press releases, assisting with media outreach, preparing communication materials, and supporting strategic communication plans for campaigns and initiatives. The intern will help manage media lists, monitor coverage, and contribute to social and digital content that highlights project milestones. Collaboration with internal teams to gather stories, data, and updates for external communication will be a key part of the role.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Public Relations and Media Relations for managing external communications and outreach.
Candidates should possess skills in Press Releases and Strategic Communications for creating structured, goal-oriented messaging.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication in en_US.
Candidates should have basic familiarity with digital media and social platforms used for PR and brand visibility.
Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Relevant coursework or interest in communications, public relations, media studies, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.
An understanding of rural development, e-commerce, or technology-driven social impact initiatives is a plus.
