Role Description As a remote Product Development Intern, you will support the design, refinement, and evaluation of e-commerce products and services tailored for rural markets. On a day-to-day basis, you will assist with market and user research, gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders, and help translate insights into product requirements and improvements. You will collaborate with product managers and R&D team members to document features, prepare simple prototypes or workflows, and contribute to testing and iteration cycles. The internship role also involves preparing clear communication materials, such as product summaries and reports, to ensure alignment across teams and to help drive informed product decisions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Market Research and Research and Development (R&D) skills to understand user needs and support product experimentation.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based product decisions.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly.
Candidates should possess foundational Product Management skills, including basic knowledge of product lifecycles, requirement gathering, and prioritization.
Relevant skills such as problem-solving, attention to detail, and adaptability in a remote work environment are beneficial.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Business, Engineering, Design, Economics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Interest in rural development, inclusive technology, and e-commerce solutions is highly valued.
