Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to upkeep plant machineries to the highest standard to increase machine availability and reduce maintenance cost by appropriate maintenance approach.
Key Responsibilities
The position is responsible for attending breakdown maintenance, follow preventive maintenance as per schedule, engage in new project or developmental activities and follow good practices in his area of work with zero safety incidents.
· Maintenance of overall mechanical equipment of the plant reporting to Mechanical In charge
· Planning and execution of Preventive Maintenance as per schedule.
· Understanding design features of all the equipment installed
· Condition monitoring of all utilities like CT, Air Compressors and circulation pumps, chillers
· Condition monitoring of Fire Hydrant system.
· Carrying out plant/Equipment shut down jobs whenever plant/Equipment opportunities are available.
· Carrying out Break Down maintenance, project works and developmental activities.
· Basic knowledge of general safety
· Basic knowledge of Fire safety
· Trouble shooting
· Breakdown analysis
· Preventive maintenance & execution
· Responding to Condition Monitoring from production / user departments
· Improvement project / value engineering
· Planning and execution of major maintenance / reconditioning
· 5 S Activity /Maintenance check list
· Technical support for Mechanical maintenance to reach at desired production level of plant
Compliance & Governance
· Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
· Maintain compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
· Support internal and external audits.
Educational Qualification
Essential:
Diploma /BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Preferred:
MS Office, ERP system, AutoCAD
Experience:
Minimum Experience Required:
3 to 5 years relevant experience
Preferred Experience:
Industry: Automobile,Rubber,Plastic
Functional Area: Plant maintenance/utility maintenance
Technical Competencies
Candidate should have working knowledge of
Extrusion system
Kneader/two roll mills
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
