Job Description – Garment Merchandiser
Position: Garment Merchandiser

Job Responsibilities
Handle merchandising activities from order confirmation to final shipment.
Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, production, sampling, quality and sourcing teams.
Understand buyer requirements, tech packs, specifications and product details.
Prepare and follow up on T&A (Time and Action) calendars.
Coordinate fabric, trims and accessories procurement as per production requirements.
Follow up on sampling, approvals, lab dips, fabrics, trims and fit comments.
Monitor production progress and ensure orders are completed within the agreed timeline.
Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve issues affecting delivery.
Communicate with buyers regarding order status, approvals and changes.
Check and maintain costing, consumption, order quantities and shipment details.
Ensure all buyer requirements and quality standards are followed.
Maintain order-related documentation and prepare regular status reports.
Coordinate with the logistics team for final inspection and shipment.
Candidate Requirements
Graduate/Diploma in Fashion, Apparel, Textile, Garment Technology or related field preferred.
2–5 years of experience in garment merchandising/apparel manufacturing.
Good knowledge of garment production processes.
Understanding of fabrics, trims, measurements, construction and garment terminology.
