Role Description This is a contractual, opart-time role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region for an HR Consultant/Agency supporting BookEinstein’s growing team. The role involves talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning. Daily responsibilities include drafting and updating HR policies, maintaining employee records, managing performance review processes, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment regulations. The HR Consultant/Agency will handle employee relations, support conflict resolution, oversee disciplinary procedures, and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture. The role also includes advising leadership on HR best practices, supporting training initiatives, and coordinating with external partners as needed.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience in partnering with leadership to support organizational growth.
Ability to design, implement, and maintain clear HR Policies that support compliance, consistency, and fairness across the organization.
Demonstrated skills in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, engagement initiatives, and building a supportive work environment.
Working knowledge of Labor and Employment Law relevant to India, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and statutory requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; advanced certifications in HR are an advantage.
Experience working with startups or small, growing organizations, preferably in education, edtech, or related sectors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders in an inclusive manner.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
