Role Description As a DevOps Intern at CosmoQuick, you will support the engineering team in maintaining and improving the infrastructure that powers our job marketplace platform. On a day-to-day basis, you may assist with configuring CI/CD pipelines, monitoring system performance, and contributing to automation scripts that improve reliability and deployment speed. You will help document processes, troubleshoot basic environment issues, and collaborate with developers to ensure smooth integration and delivery of new features. This is a remote internship role, offering practical, hands-on experience in a cloud-based, production environment while working closely with experienced DevOps and engineering professionals.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of DevOps concepts, including CI/CD, version control, and infrastructure-as-code.
Basic experience with at least one scripting language (e.g., Bash, Python) and familiarity with Linux-based systems.
Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes is beneficial.
Understanding of monitoring and logging tools, as well as fundamental networking concepts, is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Interest in building a career in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or cloud infrastructure.
