Role Description As a Frontend Intern at CosmoQuick, you will support the development and maintenance of user-facing features across our web platform. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and designers to build responsive, accessible interfaces that enhance the hiring experience for employers and candidates. Daily tasks may include implementing UI components, fixing frontend bugs, optimizing page performance, and participating in code reviews. You will also assist in testing new features, documenting changes, and contributing ideas to improve usability and overall product quality. This is a remote internship role, offering flexibility while providing hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies and workflows.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to build basic web pages and components.
Familiarity with at least one modern JavaScript framework or library (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular) and an interest in learning best practices for component-based development.
Understanding of responsive design principles and experience using tools like Flexbox, CSS Grid, or UI frameworks (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap) to create layouts that work across devices.
Basic experience with version control systems, preferably Git, and comfort collaborating through platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
Attention to detail in UI implementation, with an interest in accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and clean, maintainable code.
Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to ask questions, and openness to feedback in a collaborative, remote team environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in en_US, with the ability to document work and explain technical concepts clearly.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, bootcamp, or self-directed learning program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; prior internship or project experience is a plus.
