Role Description The Python with Flask Developer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that power eShipz’s logistics automation platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include building scalable Flask-based applications, integrating with third-party carrier and logistics APIs, managing database interactions, and optimizing performance and security. The developer will collaborate with product, frontend, and QA teams to translate requirements into reliable features, troubleshoot production issues, and improve existing codebases. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. The position is intended for candidates who can join immediately and have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Back-End Web Development skills, including experience building RESTful APIs with Python and Flask.
Candidates should possess solid Software Development skills, covering the full development lifecycle from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming principles.
Candidates should possess hands-on experience working with Databases, including schema design, query optimization, and ORM frameworks.
Relevant skills such as familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) are beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
Ability to write clean, testable code, work in agile teams, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment is essential.
