Interior Design Drafter – Revit

ABOUT THE ROLE
F5 Global Talent is hiring an experienced Interior Design Drafter with strong Revit skills to produce coordinated interior construction-documentation sets for U.S. projects.
You’ll take architectural files, interior layouts, and building-service drawings and develop them into complete Revit documentation — including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, finish schedules, sections, millwork details, and related construction drawings.
A major part of the job is coordination. The reflected ceiling plan, HVAC layout, interior elevations, finishes, and other building systems must all agree. You’ll be expected to identify conflicts before they reach the construction site and take ownership of the drawing set through final quality review.
This is a technical documentation role — not 3D rendering, visualization, structural architecture, or MEP design.
This is a full-time, remote role for candidates based in India, working U.S. business hours.
IMPORTANT: A portfolio of interior construction drawings you personally produced is required. You should be prepared to explain exactly what you were responsible for on each project.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Develop complete interior drawing sets in Revit from architectural files, layouts, and building-service information
• Produce floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, sections, and detail drawings
• Prepare finish schedules covering paint, wallcoverings, moldings, trim, flooring, ceilings, doors, windows, lighting, and millwork
• Develop millwork, cabinetry, and custom interior details
• Read and interpret HVAC and MEP drawings
• Integrate building-system information into ceiling and finish plans
• Cross-reference floor plans, RCPs, HVAC layouts, elevations, and schedules to identify conflicts
• Maintain dimensional accuracy, annotations, callouts, and drawing standards
• Perform independent quality control on your own drawing sets
• Own the documentation workflow from architectural background through final drawing review
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, engineers, contractors, and consultants
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• 3+ years of experience in interior design drafting, architectural interiors, or a similar construction-documentation role
• Strong Revit experience specifically for interior design and construction documentation
• Experience producing reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, floor plans, sections, and details
• Strong interior-finish documentation experience
• Experience with millwork and cabinetry detailing
• Ability to read and coordinate HVAC and MEP drawings
• Strong understanding of dimensional accuracy, annotations, callouts, and drawing standards
• Ability to independently review and quality-check your own work
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
• Portfolio of interior construction drawings you personally produced
• Strong written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Availability to work U.S. business hours
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience with U.S.-based residential, commercial, hospitality, or high-end interior projects
• Familiarity with U.S. architectural and interior construction-documentation standards
• Experience with Revit families, templates, view templates, sheets, and schedules
• Strong millwork, cabinetry, or custom-detail documentation experience
• AutoCAD experience in addition to Revit
• Experience working with remote architectural or design teams
• Drawing packages that were used for actual construction
