Mortgage Loan Processor

ABOUT THE ROLE
F5 Global Talent is hiring a Mortgage Loan Processor to manage active U.S. mortgage files from application through closing.
You’ll collect and organize borrower documentation, review files for completeness, track underwriting conditions, coordinate third-party items such as appraisals, title, insurance, and verifications, and keep every file moving toward clear-to-close.
This is a fast-paced pipeline-management role. You’ll often have multiple active files at once, each waiting on different documents, borrowers, lenders, underwriters, or third parties. Your job is to know exactly what each file needs next and follow up until it gets done.
Direct mortgage-processing experience is preferred but not required. We are open to candidates with strong transferable experience in loan processing, financial-document collection, case management, lending operations, or other detail-heavy roles involving deadlines and client follow-up.
This is a full-time, remote role for candidates based in the Philippines, working U.S. business hours.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Manage multiple active mortgage files from application through closing
• Collect, review, and organize borrower documentation such as bank statements, income records, identity documents, and insurance information
• Review files for completeness and identify missing documents or information early
• Track underwriting conditions and follow up until each requirement is cleared
• Communicate with borrowers to request documents and explain outstanding requirements
• Coordinate with lenders, underwriters, appraisers, title companies, insurance providers, and other third parties
• Order and track appraisals, title work, insurance, and other required items
• Monitor critical dates and identify potential delays before they affect closing timelines
• Keep internal teams and stakeholders informed of file status
• Maintain accurate documentation and organized digital loan files
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Experience in loan processing, financial-document collection, lending operations, case management, or another detail-heavy coordination role
• Strong ability to manage multiple active files and deadlines at once
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
• Confidence communicating with borrowers and external stakeholders by phone and email
• Ability to review financial and supporting documents carefully for completeness
• Strong written and spoken English
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Strong judgment about what needs immediate follow-up and what can wait
• Comfortable learning lender requirements, underwriting terminology, and mortgage workflows
• Availability to work U.S. business hours
NICE TO HAVE
• Residential or commercial mortgage-processing experience
• Experience interpreting underwriting conditions
• Experience working with appraisals, title, insurance, or borrower verifications
• Experience supporting U.S.-based borrowers or lenders
• Familiarity with mortgage loan-origination or CRM systems
• HubSpot experience
• Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Sign experience
• Experience with OneDrive or digital document-management systems
