WE ARE HIRING | JUNIOR DESIGNER
Label Anamika Khanna | Kolkata
We are looking for a Junior Designer to join our design team in Kolkata.
The role is suited to a young, creative and detail-oriented designer with a strong interest in couture, Indian craftsmanship, contemporary silhouettes and surface development.
THE ROLE
• Assist in developing collections and design concepts
• Research silhouettes, fabrics, colours, embroideries and surface techniques
• Develop sketches, mood boards and design presentations
• Assist with embroidery, print and surface development
• Coordinate with sampling and production teams
• Assist during fittings, trials and collection development
• Contribute to maintaining the visual language and design sensibility of the house
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
• Graduate / final-year student from NIFT or a reputed fashion institute
• Strong fashion illustration and visualisation skills
• Good understanding of textiles, silhouettes and surface techniques
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop is preferred
• A distinctive and well-curated portfolio
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Freshers and candidates with relevant internship experience may apply
