Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Intern will support the design, development, and evaluation of AI and data-driven solutions that power PPStack’s learning platforms and digital services. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching AI and machine learning techniques, assisting in data preprocessing and model training, and implementing prototypes using programming languages such as Python. The intern will help analyze performance metrics, document technical findings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in education, product, and engineering to improve AI-powered features. Additional tasks may involve contributing to curriculum content for AI-related courses and supporting experiments in learning technologies. This is a full-time remote role.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software development principles.
Solid Analytical Skills for problem-solving, experimentation, and interpreting quantitative results.
Exposure to Data Science concepts such as data cleaning, feature engineering, and basic statistical analysis.
Understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals, common model types, and model evaluation techniques.
Hands-on Programming experience (preferably Python or similar languages) for implementing scripts, models, and tools.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch) is beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate using online communication tools.
Interest in EdTech, learning technologies, and applying AI to education and career development is a strong plus.
