Role Description The Accountant role at SRK Innovations is an on-site position based in Nagpur. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing vouchers and invoices. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, assisting with monthly and annual financial closing, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also involves preparing basic financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, and maintaining organized financial records for management review.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong fundamental accounting skills, including knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliation processes.
Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including using spreadsheets for data analysis and financial reporting.
Candidates should possess sound understanding of taxation, invoicing, and compliance with local financial regulations and standards.
Candidates should possess solid analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with finance, operations, and external partners.
Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
Prior experience in corporate or small–medium business accounting, preferably in technology, manufacturing, or solutions-based companies, is beneficial.
Manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality in handling financial information.
