Role Description The RSM/ASM – Personal Care – North India role at Akava Luxury is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The role is responsible for managing and expanding personal care and accessory sales across the North India region, including driving revenue, achieving targets, and strengthening brand presence in key markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing regional distributors and retail partners, planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring performance, and providing regular reporting to leadership. The role also involves market mapping, competitor analysis, identification of new business opportunities, and collaboration with marketing and product teams to support launches and promotions. The RSM/ASM will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service, efficient merchandising, and consistent implementation of brand standards at all touchpoints.
Qualifications
Strong regional sales and account management skills, including territory planning, channel management, and target achievement in FMCG, personal care, or lifestyle products.
Experience in distributor handling, retail network development, and trade relationship management across multiple states in North India.
Competence in sales analytics, forecasting, and use of CRM or sales reporting tools to track performance and optimize strategies.
Knowledge of personal care or fashion accessory categories, consumer behavior, and modern trade, general trade, or e-commerce channels.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to lead and motivate field sales teams.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on execution, follow-through, and problem-solving.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Relevant experience (typically 5–10 years) in regional sales roles, preferably with exposure to premium, lifestyle, or personal care brands.
Comfort with frequent travel within North India and working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
