Role Description The Painting Contract Business Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for developing and managing painting contracts and client relationships. Day-to-day tasks include identifying new business opportunities, meeting prospective clients, understanding project requirements, and preparing quotations and proposals. The role involves coordinating with site supervisors and contractors to plan project timelines, monitor work progress, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. The executive will follow up on payments, maintain accurate records of contracts and project status, and provide regular updates to management. This position also requires market research, competitor analysis, and participation in local networking activities to expand the company’s customer base.
Qualifications
Strong client relationship management and negotiation abilities, with experience in handling commercial and residential contracts.
Solid understanding of project coordination and basic knowledge of painting materials, methods, and site operations.
Proficiency in communication, presentation, and documentation, including preparing quotations, proposals, and reports.
Comfort with fieldwork, on-site visits, and collaboration with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, commerce, civil engineering, or a related field preferred.
Prior experience in construction, facility management, or painting/finishing services will be an advantage.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of MS Office and basic digital tools for tracking leads, contracts, and project status.
Willingness to travel within Chennai and surrounding areas as required for client meetings and site inspections.
