Role Description This is a full-time remote Python Intern role at PPStack. The Python Intern will support the development and maintenance of educational and internal tools, scripts, and applications using Python. Day-to-day responsibilities may include writing clean and efficient code, debugging and testing features, integrating APIs, working with data (e.g., parsing, cleaning, and simple analysis), and contributing to automation tasks that enhance learning platforms and internal workflows. The intern will collaborate with mentors and cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, document technical work, and learn best practices in software development and EdTech product engineering.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational programming skills in Python and basic knowledge of object-oriented concepts.
Candidates should possess skills in working with data structures, algorithms, and standard Python libraries (e.g., requests, json, pandas or similar).
Candidates should possess skills in version control tools (such as Git) and collaborative coding practices.
Candidates should possess skills in debugging, testing, and writing clear code documentation.
Candidates should possess skills in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and the ability to learn new tools and frameworks quickly.
Familiarity with web development (Flask, Django, or FastAPI), databases (SQL/NoSQL), or basic data science/ML concepts is beneficial.
Strong communication skills, reliability in remote work, and the ability to collaborate in a diverse, global team are expected.
Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
