🚀 Hiring: Database Engineering Lead
📍 Location: Kochi
💼 Experience: 10–15 Years
🏢 Work Mode: WFO
⏱️ Notice Period: Immediate
We are looking for an experienced Database Engineering Lead with strong expertise in enterprise database administration, production environments, performance optimization, security, and high-availability systems.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Administer, monitor, maintain, and optimize enterprise database environments
• Ensure database availability, performance, security, backup, recovery, and DR readiness
• Troubleshoot complex database and production issues and drive root-cause analysis
• Collaborate with Application, Development, Infrastructure, and Production Support teams
• Support database deployments, migrations, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
• Implement database monitoring, automation, capacity planning, and operational best practices
• Provide technical guidance for business-critical production systems
• Support high-availability environments and critical production incidents
🔹 Technical Expertise
• Strong experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and/or MySQL
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Always On Availability Groups
• Strong knowledge of backup/recovery, replication, HA & DR
• Database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and monitoring
• Experience with database migration, upgrades, validation, and cutover activities
• Database security, auditing, access management, encryption, and compliance
• Exposure to Linux and infrastructure administration
• Experience supporting high-volume OLTP production environments
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline
• 10–15 years of relevant Database Administration / Engineering experience
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to handle critical production issues in high-availability environments
