Role Description The Java Technical Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore. This role involves leading the design and development of Java-based applications, guiding the technical direction of projects, and ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, architecture, and performance. The Java Technical Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design microservices, and implement Jakarta EE solutions, while overseeing code reviews and mentoring developers. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing existing systems, contributing to technical documentation, and coordinating with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Software Development and Programming with Java, including experience building enterprise-grade applications.
Hands-on experience with Jakarta EE for developing robust, scalable server-side applications.
Practical expertise in Microservices architecture, including design, implementation, and integration of distributed services.
Solid understanding of Design Patterns and their application in creating clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
Experience leading technical teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring developers in best practices.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, relational and/or NoSQL databases, and common integration frameworks.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and modern DevOps practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams.
