Junior Cyber Penetration Tester

The Role
Support the Penetration Testing (Red Cell) Team
Assess current system security by identifying vulnerabilities and security measures
Assist in analysis and mitigation of security vulnerabilities
Perform and report on penetration testing of systems, including cloud environments, following established methodologies
Stay updated on current attack vectors and exploitation methods for computer networks
Develop or modify tools for automated discovery or exploitation using scripting languages
What You'll Need
Bachelor's degree and 1 year of related experience, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
Basic understanding of networking and security principles
Experience with evaluating system security configurations
Understanding of common Web Application vulnerabilities (e.g., SQLi, XSS, CSRF, HTTP Flooding)
Experience with penetration testing tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap
Familiarity with network routing & switching fundamentals and assessing network device configurations
Active Secret security clearance
US citizenship
