Database Administrator

We're working with a leading technology solutions provider that partners with state government agencies to deliver critical IT services. This organisation is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to manage and optimise their data infrastructure.
The Role
Plan, develop, maintain, and monitor integrated database systems
Ensure new applications are consistent with database structural parameters
Evaluate user requests for new data elements and systems, incorporating them into the existing shared data environment
Coordinate data use to ensure integrity and control redundancy, including loading and reorganizing databases
Perform data modeling, prototyping, and design relational database models
Monitor database performance, recommend efficiency improvements, and implement security recovery procedures
What You'll Need
5+ years of experience with strong knowledge of database management systems
Experience with data warehouse management and decision support tools
Knowledge of computer programming and systems design, operations, and procedures
Familiarity with project control, cost estimating techniques, and computer programming languages
Understanding of database structures, theories, and current database technologies
Working knowledge of EIR Accessibility standards and assistive technologies
