Role Description This is a full-time remote Data Science role focused on building data-driven solutions that enhance learning experiences and support PPStack’s education and career transformation ecosystem. The role includes collecting, cleaning, and analyzing structured and unstructured data from learning platforms, training programs, and user interactions. The Data Science professional will develop statistical models and machine learning workflows to improve personalization, recommendation systems, and performance analytics. Day-to-day activities involve designing experiments, creating dashboards and reports for stakeholders, and translating data insights into actionable recommendations for product, curriculum, and business teams. Collaboration with engineers, educators, and product managers to implement, monitor, and refine data solutions is a key part of the role.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and generate clear, practical insights.
Solid foundation in statistics, including hypothesis testing, regression, and probability concepts.
Hands-on experience in data science, including machine learning model development, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
Proficiency in data analytics and data analysis using tools such as Python or R, SQL, and visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience working with large datasets, ETL processes, and cloud-based data environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is beneficial.
Familiarity with EdTech, online learning platforms, or education-focused analytics is a plus.
Strong communication skills, ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders, and comfort working independently in a remote setting.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
