Cloud Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
• Design, develop, and test secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Implement and enhance platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform and Packer.
• Deploy and maintain services including Kubernetes, HashiCorp Vault & Consul, and various databases.
• Develop and optimize monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Azure Monitor and New Relic.
• Create comprehensive documentation for internal clients to improve usability and understanding.
• Take ownership of work from architecture through implementation and monitoring, presenting design decisions to the team.
• Collaborate with other teams to enhance their infrastructure implementations and ensure their success.
What You'll Need
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Practical experience with Azure cloud and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language: PowerShell, bash, or Python.
• Experience setting up and managing security, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for application and infrastructure deployment.
• Experience with containerization using Docker.
