Role Description The Senior QS Billing Engineer will oversee quantity surveying and billing activities for construction projects, ensuring accurate measurements, BOQ preparation, and timely client billing. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and verifying bills, conducting rate analysis, coordinating with project teams, and maintaining billing records aligned with project progress. The role also involves reviewing contract documents, validating quantities, resolving billing discrepancies, and supporting cost control and budgeting efforts. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi, with food and accommodation available. The Senior QS Billing Engineer will collaborate closely with site engineers, contractors, and management to support smooth financial and project operations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Quantity Surveying and BOQ preparation skills.
Candidates should possess experience with Billing Systems and client/vendor billing processes.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Rate Analysis and cost estimation.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for data validation, problem-solving, and cost control.
Candidates should possess knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and standard measurement practices.
Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel and relevant QS/billing software.
5+ years of experience in QS and billing within the construction or infrastructure sector.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work on-site in Kochi.
Attention to detail, integrity in financial documentation, and ability to meet deadlines.
