Role Description The Retail Store Manager role at EMCHANNEL is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi, responsible for overseeing daily store operations and overall performance. This role includes managing staff scheduling, supervising sales floor activities, and ensuring that merchandising, inventory, and store presentation meet company standards. The Store Manager monitors sales targets, controls shrinkage, and implements retail loss prevention measures while maintaining accurate reports and records. A key focus of the role is delivering consistent customer service, resolving issues promptly, and promoting customer satisfaction and repeat business. The Store Manager also coaches and trains team members, supports adherence to company policies, and collaborates with management on initiatives to improve store profitability; compensation for this role is up to Rs 5 LPA.
Qualifications
Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Satisfaction, Customer Service, and effective Communication.
Proficiency in Store Management, including team supervision, inventory oversight, and daily operations in a retail environment.
Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, with the ability to minimize shrinkage and ensure compliance with store policies.
Prior experience in retail or store management, ideally in a supervisory or leadership role.
Ability to work on-site in Kochi, manage shifts, and handle operational demands in a full-time capacity.
Comfort with basic sales reporting, cash handling, and use of point-of-sale and inventory systems.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capability to handle customer concerns and operational challenges.
Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
