Senior Quantity Surveyor

Role Description The Senior Quantity Surveyor will oversee all cost-related aspects of construction projects, ensuring financial efficiency and contractual compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), monitoring project budgets, managing cost plans, and producing regular cost reports for internal teams and clients. The role will involve evaluating tenders, assessing variations, supporting contract negotiations, and providing cost advice throughout the project lifecycle. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to keep projects aligned with financial and time targets. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Cost Control and Cost Management to monitor budgets and maintain financial discipline across projects.
Candidates should possess practical experience with BOQ preparation and analysis to support accurate tendering and procurement.
Candidates should possess expertise in Cost Planning to develop, update, and optimize project cost plans from pre-contract to post-contract stages.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Cost Reporting to prepare clear, timely financial reports and forecasts for stakeholders.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in construction or infrastructure projects, with a track record in handling medium to large-scale projects.
Strong analytical, numerical, and Excel skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams on-site in Kochi.
