Project Manager

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
• Take end-to-end responsibility for complex IT projects within a corporate environment, from initial scoping through to successful handover.
• Collaborate closely with project sponsors to define project vision, strategy, and objectives, translating them into structured plans and key milestones.
• Facilitate alignment among stakeholders from IT, corporate functions, and business units, effectively moderating diverse interests to reach consensus.
• Plan and coordinate work packages across multiple sub-projects, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and timelines while managing dependencies and resources.
• Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and present project status, risks, and decision proposals to top management steering committees.
What You'll Need
• Minimum of five years of proven experience in managing complex IT projects within a corporate setting, ideally within a large group structure.
• Strong expertise in professional stakeholder and program management; consulting or system vendor experience is a plus.
• A solid academic background with a degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Deep knowledge of modern project management methodologies (both traditional and agile) and proficiency with tools like Jira.
• Practical experience with AI tools in project environments and a realistic understanding of their capabilities and limitations.
• Strong technical understanding of infrastructure, hosting, and applications to engage effectively with technical teams.
• Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A structured, analytical, and empathetic personality with strong assertiveness, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, coupled with a team-oriented mindset.
