Cyber Security Engineer

The Role
• Plan and implement appropriate security controls to ensure the protection of digital infrastructure.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans and generate reports using specified toolsets.
• Manage endpoint security, including updates to protection packages and policies.
• Respond to security incidents, focusing on containment, mitigation, investigation, and restoration.
• Perform system hardening, including patch updates, compliance audits, and configuration of security functions.
• Participate in security working groups, triage meetings, and planning sessions.
What You'll Need
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of endpoint security solutions and network controls.
• Proven ability in incident management and response.
• Experience with system hardening and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS, STIG, NIST).
• Familiarity with security impact assessment for system changes.
• Ability to create and maintain security documentation, including designs and procedures.
