HR Director

Role Description The Director role at TECHNO FORGE - India is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Director will oversee overall business operations, drive strategic planning, and ensure alignment of engineering, production, and commercial activities with organizational goals. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project performance, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide leadership and mentorship to managers, and support client relationships and key stakeholder communication. This role also involves reviewing financial performance, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative culture.
Proven experience in mechanical or industrial engineering environments, with solid understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
Business and strategic planning capabilities, including budgeting, financial analysis, and performance monitoring.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for working with clients, partners, and internal teams.
Ability to drive operational excellence, process improvement, and change management initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
Previous senior leadership experience in industrial or manufacturing organizations, preferably within the Indian market.
