Finance Manager

Role Description The Director at Echo will lead the Noida-based operations, overseeing customer service delivery, billing processes, and related support functions for water sector clients. This full-time, on-site role involves setting strategic direction, driving performance against service-level agreements, and ensuring alignment with global best practices and regulatory requirements. The Director will manage cross-functional teams, mentor leaders, and promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strong customer focus. Responsibilities include collaborating with technology and product teams on system enhancements, managing client relationships, overseeing budgets and resource planning, and analyzing operational data to inform decision-making. The role requires working closely with senior leadership to support business growth, implement new initiatives, and maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership experience in operations management, service delivery, or contact center management, preferably within utilities or related sectors.
Experience overseeing billing, customer care, or back-office processes, including performance monitoring and process optimization.
Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, including the use of dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to manage operational performance.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience managing client relationships and collaborating with technology, product, and finance teams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
Understanding of customer service technologies and CRM or billing platforms; experience with Salesforce-based solutions is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Noida and coordinate with geographically distributed teams and global stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are an asset.
Experience in the water sector, utilities, or similar regulated industries is beneficial, along with familiarity with compliance and risk management practices.
