About the Opportunity:
The SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM LEAD is responsible for supporting farmers participating in regenerative agriculture programs, helping them understand program requirements, execute contracts, submit data, and meet quality standards. This role directly contributes to the success of sustainability initiatives by providing outreach and ongoing support, enabling farmers to profitably integrate regenerative practices. The position involves collaboration with partner organizations and internal teams to enhance program impact and tool development.
Responsibilities:
Provide outreach and support to farmers enrolled in sustainability programs via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
Assist farmers in gathering required farm information and understanding sustainable agriculture impacts.
Coordinate with commercial grain buyers and other partners to manage regional sustainability program success.
Educate farmers about the Gradable platform and its benefits.
Collaborate with product and data science teams to inform development of tools that facilitate sustainable farming.
Requirements:
Experience with row crop agronomics.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with farmers and commercial agriculture partners.
Detail-oriented and efficient in managing farmer outreach and data.
Interest in ecosystem service markets and regenerative agriculture practices.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The estimated US national average base salary range for this role is $60,000 to $70,000, varying by geography and labor market.
