Role Description The telecalling intern will support EduAdvice™ by connecting with students, educators, institutions, and community members via phone to share information about education news, opportunities, and initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include making outbound calls, responding to inbound queries, maintaining call logs and records in databases, and updating stakeholders about admissions, scholarships, internships, and events. The intern will assist in gathering feedback, conducting basic data collection, and supporting outreach campaigns that strengthen EduAdvice™’s community engagement. This is an internship role and is fully remote, requiring interns to work responsibly and independently while coordinating with the team through digital communication tools.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong verbal communication, clear telephone etiquette, and active listening skills.
Candidates should possess relationship-building skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to engage respectfully with diverse stakeholders.
Candidates should possess basic data entry, record-keeping, and organizational skills for managing call logs and follow-up tasks.
Candidates should possess familiarity with common office and communication tools (such as spreadsheets, email, and messaging platforms) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Candidates should possess time management skills, reliability in meeting daily call targets, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Strong interest in the education sector and student opportunities is highly beneficial; prior experience in telecalling, sales, or outreach is an advantage but not mandatory.
A minimum educational qualification of high school completion or ongoing undergraduate studies is preferred, along with proficiency in English and at least one Indian regional language.
