Role Description The Telecaller Intern will support EduAdvice™ by communicating with students, parents, educators, and institutional representatives via phone and digital channels in a remote internship role. Day-to-day responsibilities include making outbound calls to share information about educational news, admissions, scholarships, internships, and events, and responding to inbound inquiries in a professional, helpful manner. The intern will maintain accurate call records, update contact databases, and follow call scripts and guidelines while adapting to individual caller needs. The role also involves coordinating with the content and partnerships teams to collect feedback, share leads, and support outreach campaigns. The intern is expected to be available during agreed working hours, meet daily call targets, and uphold EduAdvice™’s values of clarity, reliability, and respectful communication.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong communication skills, including clear spoken English or Hindi, active listening, and a polite, professional phone manner.
Candidates should possess basic computer and digital literacy skills, including familiarity with spreadsheets or CRM tools, email, and messaging platforms.
Candidates should possess customer service and interpersonal skills, including empathy, patience, and the ability to handle queries and concerns respectfully.
Candidates should possess organizational skills, such as attention to detail, record-keeping, and time management to meet daily calling and reporting targets.
Relevant qualifications include current enrollment in or completion of a degree or diploma (any discipline), interest in the education sector, and willingness to learn telecalling and outreach practices.
Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in telecalling, internships in customer support or sales, knowledge of Indian education systems, and proficiency in additional regional languages.
